 This tour will start at the Whole Foods Market where each guest will be taken on an exclusive “behind the scenes” tour to teach you how to shop on a budget by knowing the layout of the store. Delicious samples are offered throughout the tour, and a continental breakfast of locally sources fruits, coffee and breads are provided. Once you’ve satisfied your appetite the tour will continue to the Hali’imaile Pineapple Company, where the staff shares a brief history of growing pineapple on Maui and how their farming operations has evolved today. See how pineapple is grown and learn the interesting facts about choosing the sweetest pineapple in the supermarket. Then it’s off to lunch at the O’o farm, where a plethora of different crops are grown. Providing a unique culinary experience of using the freshest farm ingredients, prepared in creative ways that bring forth all the delicious flavors nature has to offer. After lunch, its on to Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm, where the tour starts on a sweet note of creamy Lavender Chocolate Gelato. Take the first and only Lavender walking tour and discover the “Language of Flowers”. Buy a Lavender Scone for the road and find out why these scones are so famous! This one-of-a-kind tour will return to Whole Foods Market where you can shop before returning to your car!

Schedule Information
Tour operates every Tuesday (until further notice) and subject to availability at time of booking.
8:30 am Tour meets at Whole Foods Market. Local residents and visitors are welcome and encouraged to take this entertaining and informative tour. 3:00 pm Tour ends at Whole Foods Market.
Price
Cost per person: $130, plus tax per person
There are no children’s rates available on this tour, however parents may still choose to take older children (12+) who are interested in learning about agriculture on Maui.
Reservations
Advanced reservations is required. Phone our Reservations Department at 808-891-4604. Reservations department is open Monday thru Friday from 9 am until 4 pm only. If calling during non-business hours leave a message or send us an email and a reservationist will get back to you the next business day.

Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee of $25 will be assessed if you decide to cancel once reservations have already been confirmed. All cancellations made 72 hours or less prior to date of service will not be refunded and full charge will apply. No shows will be charged in full.  If you would like to make a claim for a refund you must do so within 15 days of the date of service.
Tour Restriction(s)
Akina reserves the right to make changes to the tour as needed based on weather and availability.
This tour is operated on a van or minibus. It is not recommended for those with back or motion problems. Ground at farms may be uneven, wet and slippery.
Attire
A light Jacket and Walking or Hiking shoes recommended.
