About the Pineapple Tour
Private group transportation with an exclusive narrated tour from your hotel or vacation rental to the pineapple farm nestled in Upcountry Maui. Upon arrival at the Maui Land & Pineapple Company’s Haliimaile plantation, your group will transfer on to one of the pineapple field trucks to discover Maui Gold on the island’s tastiest tour!
Experience the farm field operations of a working Hawaii pineapple plantation firsthand as you learn all about the growing cycle and cultivation techniques of Hawaii pineapples. Not only will you get a glimpse of Hawaiian agriculture but you might even get a taste of a freshly picked pineapple! The 90 minute plantation farm tour wraps up with an up close and personal tour of the packing facility to ensure that you see the process from start to finish.

Available every day of the week and suitable for ages 2 and up, this is an exciting way to get to know the more tropical side of the island. About the Distillery Tour
After your Pineapple Tour, see how one local company is utilizing Maui Gold Pineapples! Located in the heart of Maui’s pineapple region, Haliimaile Distilling Company uses local ingredients and a unique distilling process to create their spirits. Tour includes a 20 to 30 minute tour of the distillery, where you will learn about the local ingredients and custom stills being used to create these spirits.

All of our tours are private charters catered to you and your group, so each experience is unique when it comes to start and end times, number of stops, and so much more! Below is an example of what your tour itinerary could look like but it is subject to change.
Pick Up
Exclusive vehicle hotel pick-up with narrated tour through Central Maui to Maui’s North Shore & Haliimaile
First Stop
Maui Pineapple Plantation Field & Factory Tour. A complimentary pineapple boxed for each person on the tour, inspected, and ready for export!
Second Stop
Haliimaile Distilling Company tour with Spirits Tasting Room (tour is for all ages, tasting room for 21 and over. Bring ID).
Lunch
Gourmet box lunch available or choose your own restaurant stop (box lunch $25 per person).
Return
Flexible departure time and tour stops! Just return 5 hours after hotel pick-up time and there are no additional fees.

For an additional fee*, your vehicle will be made available beyond your anticipated return time (based upon availability). Add a destination, or extend shopping time on the fly. The Not PauTM option allows you to settle up with the driver upon your return to the resort.
*Van rate (up to 14 passengers) for additional time is $155 per hour plus taxes, fees & gratuity and based upon the expected return time stated at the time of booking. Charges accrue in increments of 30 minutes, and are rounded to the next half hour. Call for larger vehicle rates for larger groups.
Go exploring for the day in historic Makawao Town, the birth place of the Makawao Rodeo and the Paniolo Cowboy. Our driver will stand by at your direction or accompany your group as your personal tour guide. There’s lots to see, from a glass blowing studio, to unique shops and boutiques, saddled by some of Maui’s best hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
Just five minutes down the slopes of Haleakala from the pineapple fields, Paia Town (pronounced pie-EE-yah, unlike the Spanish seafood dish) is the epicenter of Maui’s North Shore. One glance at the people and the shops, you can sense the international flavor. Europeans and surf aficionados from around the world have long gathered there to surf Ho’okipa, one of the world’s best windsurfing beach. Stop at any of Paia’s amazing restaurants, or visit one of Willie Nelson’s favorite restaurants, Charlie’s, for a bite or a beer.
Perhaps you’ll want to drive down the coast to see the windsurfers and kite surfers in action skimming the surface of the waves like butterflies on shimmering glass, or head another 5 miles down the coast to Peahi get a witness the power of “Jaws” one of the world’s biggest waves.
